Kaya climbing reddit, pic of the day 32 posts 1 2 Next slowride TKF 7000 Club Posts: 7323 Joined: Sat Jun 14, 2003 2:26 am Location: Aransas Pass, TX What would you consider the best bait for all, or even just one or two, of a grand slam (redfish, flounder, & spec)? People keep asking me this, and I'm never totally sure what to say. We are in the Aransas Pass area. I've seen wallmounts, but in all honesty I'm hestiant about that and don't think i have the wall space has anyone paddled a yak on a river like the Guad at recent flows (500-700cfs)? the first time i was there i saw a couple of yakkers come upstream, then go back down in 1000cfs flows, but i forget how the wind was blowing. This is plans to add dual outriggers and a sail to any yak or canoe, ala Hobie style. Any help is Just wondering if the red tide effects the eating quality of the reds and trout. I was thinking of heading down on the kayak to get further down river to hunt but wanted some advice from someone who has been recently to try to come home with a hog. Those outriggers would be just the ticket for stability to stand but they look pretty intrusive if you tried to fish sitting down. A company in the UK that sells plans for kayaks and canoes. they didn't seem to be having any trouble getting around. Anyone have any tips/suggestions? I'm thinking i could rig up a pulley system and use the belly straps to keep the stress off the kayak.
